AI Chat Email Leads: Get a Reply by Email and the Leads Inbox
Not every question needs an instant AI answer. Formsig AI Chat lets visitors request a human follow-up by email. This guide covers the visitor flow and your dashboard inbox.

Visitor experience
Inside the chat widget, visitors tap Get a reply by email, enter their address and message, and send to your team.
They can do this after chatting with AI or instead of waiting for a perfect bot answer.
Copy is friendly and clear: the message goes to your team; you reply to their email outside the widget.
Leads inbox in the dashboard
Open Dashboard → Chat → Leads. Each lead stores email, message, assistant name, and the page path (URL path) the visitor was on.
Unread leads increment a badge on the Leads tab until you open each lead (viewed_at).
Use page path to see whether the lead came from your site, a Hosted Page (/p/…), or Playground tests.
Notifications
When account email notifications are configured, you may also receive an inbox email for new chat leads.
Leads are separate from form submissions; they do not consume submission quota but AI replies still count toward AI Chat reply quota.

Frequently asked questions
Do leads count as AI replies?
Email lead capture is separate from AI-generated answers. Each AI message to the visitor still counts as one reply on your plan.
Can I export leads?
Use the Leads tab in the dashboard to review entries. For exports, copy or integrate via your support workflow as product export features evolve.
